Ways to Serve

Serving in God's name is a natural progression in the life of faith. As we grow closer to our Creator, we naturally want to reach out and serve people in need. At Christ Church we encourage everyone in the congregation to let the Spirit guide them in this process. We believe that Spirit-driven, gift-based serving is one of the cores of the Christian walk. Just as Christ has called "some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers" (Ephesians 4:11), Christ has called each of us to use our hands and hearts to serve in different ways – feeding the hungry, visiting the shut-in, mentoring students, providing hope to the forgotten.

So how is God calling YOU to serve? Please click on one of the links to the left for more information of ways Christ Church serves others. Or maybe you feel your heart being tugged as God longs to use your gifts and talents for something different such as giving haircuts to the homeless, baking cookies for classrooms, reading to hospice patients. However God is calling you, we want to help you serve. Call our Lay Pastor of Serving Ministries, Fred Scarbrough, at 954.242.2016, or email him to discover more ways you may serve as a disciple of Christ.
