Wednesdays at Christ Church
The believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the community, to their shared meals, and to their prayers.
The Wednesdays of ADVENT
Wednesday night's supper includes a family-friendly menu, which is available each Sunday at the church front desk. Cost is $5 per person, up to $20 per family. Reservations are requested each week; send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org by noon Tuesday. Be sure to tell us how many adults and children to expect.
LEARNINGOn Wednesday evenings, November 30-Decenber 21, you'll be able to mark Advent in a special way with your church family.
Pastor Josh Beaty will lead a special lesson.
The monthly Taize service will focus on Advent through songs, scripture, prayer, meditation and Holy Communion. For more information about Taize services, click here.
The children of Christ Church and Christ Church School will present a Live Nativity in the front of the Fort Lauderdale Sanctuary. Pastor Monique McBride will read Christmas stories, and Pastor Brett Opalinski will lead Christmas carols. Enjoy a visit with a live donkey and sheep. Christmas cookies and cocoa will be served. Sign up your child to participate in the Live Nativity in the breezeway on Sunday mornings or online.
Pastor Brett Opalinski will lead a lesson, Strange Christmas Scriptures.
Every Wednesday evening, except December 14 during the Live Nativity, preschoolers to fifth grade are invited to the Crosswalk Room for age-appropriate activities and a Bible lesson while their parents are in class. The nursery will be open for infants and youngsters in diapers.
