 /freeway student missions/

In the past, we have served in New York, Colorado, Bahamas, Chicago as well as Miami and Christ Church Pompano Beach campus ministries.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."
-Matthew 18:19

Summer is the perfect opportunity to go out into our community, state, nation, and/or world and truly be the hand's and feet of Jesus.

THIS summer, Freeway is sending teams to the mission fields of South Florida and San Francisco.

MIDDLE & HIGH LOCAL MISSION TRIP '17

Incoming 6th-12th graders will serve the South Florida community June 19-23, specifically through the ministries on the Pompano Beach campus of Christ Church, in Fort Lauderdale and in Miami. This is a way to give back to the beautiful area in which we live in and to truly serve our neighbors. This trip has made monumental impact on our students in past years to serve the city they live in, and experience the issues that are impacting those so close to us.

Past local mission ministry opportunities have included: making dinner for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Lauderdale, assisting the teachers and playing with the children of the Early Learning Center, organizing and stocking the Blessings Food Pantry of Christ Church Pompano Beach, preparing and serving the Thursday night meal for Hope Central, and more!

This trip is June 19th-23rd. The cost of the trip is $250. The deposit of the trip is $100, which is due February 26th to Rebecca Torres, Director of Student Ministry, at the Church office. Please include THIS Church Medical Release Form. To hear student experiences from last summer's trip, please check out the video below.

We will be attending this trip through Center for Student Missions, which is an incredible organization dedicated to urban missions for youth, families, and adults around the United States. We have worked with them this past summer to go to Chicago, as well as New York. It is an incredible experience they provide to truly immerse students in the city they are serving in. Please check out their promotional video below. If you are interested in being a parent leader for this trip, please contact Rebecca Torres.

Please pray for the student teams as they serve.
