Ryan Hall

Ryan Hall, holder of the US record for the half-marathon and one of the nation's fastest marathon runners, will speak at Christ Church on Saturday and Sunday, November 11 and 12, 2017.

Hall ran the fastest marathon of any US runner at the 2011 Boston Marathon and ran in two Olympic Games.  He retired in 2016 after struggling with chronic fatigue and other health issues. He holds the US record for the fastest half-marathon and is ranked the 6th best US long-distance runner of all time by Running World magazine.

In early 2017, Hall ran seven marathons in seven days on seven continents.

Hall made news in 2012 when he listed God as his coach on an entry card. "I think a lot times of people have faith, but they don't really integrate it in their day-to-day living," Ryan told CNN. "I got to the point last fall of 2010 where I wanted to put myself in the position where I was desperate to hear from God."

Now you can come hear Ryan Hall's story for yourself.
