Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is a Christian ministry dedicated to eradicating substandard housing by building simple, decent, affordable homes. Families who receive Habitat homes make monthly payments on a no-profit, no-interest mortgage, and each family is expected to contribute 500 hours of sweat equity working with Habitat volunteers. Habitat homes are affordable, in large part, because volunteers keep construction costs down.

Saturday, July 15, 2017, at 1pm
You are invited to the dedication of the Roderick Fuller house, which Christ Church has co-sponsored and helped build. Roderick's home is located at 2900 NW 2nd St, Pompano Beach 33069; the dedication will be next door, the middle house among three that will be dedicated that day.  Come be a part of the celebration!

Work days begin at 7:45am and end about noon. No construction experience is necessary. Habitat provides the training, tools and materials—you provide the heart and hands to help build a home for a deserving family. PLEASE NOTE: VOLUNTEERS MUST BE 16 YEARS OR OLDER AND WEAR CLOSED TOE SHOES. These builds are limited to a maximum of 20 persons.
