Christ Church is looking for a part-time communications assistant.
The person who fills this paid position is an important part of the communications team. He or she collects the information for each week's bulletins and prints them, produces other printed materials and signs for worship, events and groups, and gathers information for various reports. Other responsibilities include ordering some supplies and supervising maintenance of office equipment.
The successful applicant will have an eye for detail, a heart for organization and a cheerful spirit for last-minute adjustments. So much of the communications team's work involves ever-changing technology, so this person will be happiest if he or she is willing to learn new software and hardware. Knowing the Microsoft office suite will make many tasks easier, although much of the production work is done in Adobe programs, and we will train you to use those.
