When students head back to 26 pubic schools this fall, Christ Church invites you to help make sure students have the supplies they need.
Last fall, the Backpack Project put backpacks and supplies in the hands of nearly 1,000 students at elementary, middle and high schools in Broward County.
Starting March 24, you can help by ordering packs of supplies and backpacks from an online suppliers. They will be delivered to the church in early August, just in time for Christ Church to place them in nearby public schools. Orders can be placed until July 2, 2017.

This summer, when back-to-school supplies go on sale, you can decide to shop in stores for students. Some families find it helpful to shop together and talk about helping others as they shop. Items to purchase are:
-- Backpacks without wheels
-- Boxed dry erase markers
-- Boxed colored markers
-- Loose-leaf notebook paper
-- Composition books
-- Spiral-bound notebooks
-- Packs of #2 pencils
-- Boxed colored pencils
-- Glue sticks
Items can be brought to the church starting Saturday, July 29, 2017.
Last year, Christ Church gave nearly 1,000 backpacks to 26 elementary, middle and high schools as well as to children of Faith in Action, God's Little Lambs, and the Blessings Food Pantry as well as others. This project is co-sponsored by the Gracious Energetic Motivated Servers (GEMS) and the FREEWAY Student Ministry.
