Florida United Methodist Children's Home

What began as a ministry to provide homes for orphaned children now serves to restore and create families, provide peace in the midst of chaotic lives, and allow children to grow into the fullness by which God created them. The Florida United Methodist Children’s Home is a diverse ministry that includes residential care, therapeutic group care, foster care, emergency shelter care, independent living assistance, and a community child care center.
Christ Church is connected to the ministry as a member of the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church, joining other churches in the conference in maintaining and providing for the facility and ministries. But more importantly, God has called us to assist in providing healing and a future as God shapes children, their families and our community through the services the Home provides. We can best serve by making financial contributions to the Florida Children’s Home. Contributions may be made by check, payable to Christ Church, including “Florida Children’s Home” on the memo line. Or you may make your donation directly to The Florida United Methodist Children’s Home, 51 Children’s Way, Enterprise, Florida, 32725.
